Just want to let y'all know that I am totally digging your album, as is my 8-year old! I deeply appreciate music that appeals to both of us. And she's taken to nightly requests for me to sing Lullaby (to which I don't do justice, but I try anyway). It's a beautiful song! The album is outstanding (I'm not surprised). Thank you.

Very talented people, Did I tell you guys that I love love love LOVE your album? Seriously, it is not just that I play it all the time. It is that I take the music with me in my dreams, or I must have, because sometimes I wake up with singing in my head....("We are lighthouses, you and me...")

Wondered just who this group, A Mad Affair, is. Of course, if Mike E. lined them up to play, they couldn't be bad. Good gracious alive!! What a great set you guys played at the Creek! We old farts can rest easy that the next generation of music is in outstanding hands! Looking forward to the CD. Can't wait to see you the next time. Much love, f

Once nearly 20 years ago, friends of mine had planted an evening primrose at their doorstep--named such because it only blooms briefly at night. To see it happen, one must be patient, so I sat down beside it with a video camera as dusk approached, and I waited. An hour passed, and then quite suddenly, unaided by any breeze, the flower began to move; having saved its resolve for just this moment, in less than a few easy breaths it opened and showed its beauty to the world. Knowing that it would happen made it no less miraculous; expectancy is not the same as the wondrous surprise of actually seeing. I have never forgotten the rare feeling of that moment, nor will I ever forget seeing A Mad affair at the moment it opened itself to the world. I knew it would come someday, but I am overwhelmed by the joy of the moment. My dear friends, I am immeasurably happy for you. --Todd
